On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the death of Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of Azerbaijan's modern independent state, the world-famous political figure, and the National Leader of our people, members of the ANAS Presidium, heads of institutes and organizations paid a visit to the Great Leader's grave in the Alley of Honor on December 12.
Representatives of the scientific community lay flowers on the Great Leader's tomb and bowed before his spirit as a sign of their sincere regard and admiration for the unforgettable memory of the National Leader.
The late leader Aziz Aliyev and scholar Tamerlan Aliyev were also remembered, with flowers placed on their graves.
