ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi held a scientific session on "Turkish Literature Foundation and Azerbaijan". The event was attended by the head of the Turkish Literature Foundation Serhat Kabakli, editor-in-chief of the "Turkish Literature" journal Imdat Avshar and other intellectuals. The event was opened by ANAS Vice-President, Director of the Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi, Academician Isa Habibbayli. He said that, Turkey is our brotherly republic: "As the great leader Heydar Aliyev said, we are proud to be "One nation, two states"".The brotherhood of the heads of state of both countries has further strengthened our brotherhood, which dates back to a thousand years in the XXI century. In particular, the great support provided by Turkey in the Karabakh war, the heartfelt support of the Azerbaijani emergency workers during the fires in Turkey proved that this brotherhood is one in the trenches of war and sees its destiny in one trench. In the field of literature and science, Azerbaijan has extensive relations with Turkey. These relations should be further expanded. Among them, the Turkish Literature Foundation is one of the first large organizations that have been in contact with Azerbaijan since ancient times. The journal "Turkish Literature" has been published since 1972, next year is the fiftieth anniversary. In 1978, the Turkish Literature Foundation was established on the basis of the "Turkish Literature" journal.

The Turkish Literature Foundation can be considered the backbone of literature in Turkey. The founder of this institution was Professor Ahmed Kabakli. If you look at the last thirty years of the Turkish literature magazine, there is Azerbaijan in every issue, and it has been increasing in recent years. I would like to thank you for dedicating one issue of the magazine to Nizami Ganjavi. Turkey has paid great attention to the legacy of Nizami Ganjavi this year, and you have made progress in this regard. Nizami Ganjavi is a Turkish case, a case of all of us.

We must continue to work in this direction. We must tell the world that Nizami is a Turkish son. We see and appreciate that Serhat Kabakli, Imdat Avsar and Bakhtiar Aslan are in this love. Our Institute has four magazines, all of which are dedicated to Turkey.

The head of the institute also informed the guests about the history and present day of the institute. He noted that the materials of today's event will be published.

Then, the head of the Turkish Literature Foundation Serhat Kabakli spoke on behalf of the "Turkish Literature" staff: "From our childhood, the Turkic world was Azerbaijan. The center of Turkism and Turkish literature is Azerbaijan-Baku. I have great respect and admiration for Jesus. Jesus is doing great work for the cultural unity of the Turkic world. Isa Muallim has a great role in seeing Azerbaijan as the center of Turkish culture. In any case, he became a Dada Gorgud to the Turkic world".Then both guests were awarded the diploma of "Honorary Friend" of the Institute of Literature. Bakhtiyar Aslan's "Scientist of the Year" diploma was presented to the head of the foundation. The guests thanked for the award.

The guests also presented the "Living Dada Gorgud" award to academician Isa Habibbayli. At the same time, the issue of the magazine "Turkish Literature" dedicated to Nizami Ganjavi and other publications were presented to the leadership of the institute.
