ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi hosted a scientific conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of prominent historian, member of the Russian Writers' Union, Professor Rudolf Nikolayevich Ivanov. The conference was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Elmira Akhundova, Professor Rudolf Ivanov's wife Ekaterina Anisimova and other intellectuals.Opening the conference, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Director General of the Institute of Literature, Academician Isa Habibbayli gave an introductory speech on Rudolf Ivanov's activities in Azerbaijan.Doctor of Philology Elmira Akhundova said, “There was no one close to Rudolf Ivanov as a teacher Isa in Azerbaijan. At the event the Chairman of ANAS Nakhchivan Department, Academician Ismayil Hajiyev on “Rudolf Ivanov's visits to Nakhchivan and works on Nakhchivan”, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of ANAS Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Doctor of Historical Sciences Eynulla Madatli on “Rudolf Ivanov's view on Kalbalikhan Nakhchivanski's life and services”, Academy of Public Administration, head of the Department, Doctor of Philosophy in History, Associate Professor Firdovsiya Ahmadova on "Nariman Narimanov in the researches of Rudolf Ivanov", head of the Department of the Institute of History of ANAS, PhD in History, Associate Professor Ilgar Niftaliyev were delivered reports.
At the end, Rudolf Ivanov's wife Ekaterina Anisimova thanked for the event.
