ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi has published "Renaissance of the ideology of patriotism and statehood in Azerbaijani literature: from Heydar Aliyev to Ilham Aliyev" book. The authors of the monograph are Academician I.Habibbeyli, correspondent member of ANAS T. Alishanoglu, Doctor in Philology E. Akimova, Doctor in Philology A. Askerli, Ph.D. A. Bagyrli and Ph.D. L.Hasanova. The book is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, outstanding statesman and politician.
Academician Isa Habibbeyli, the head of the project, in the foreword of the monograph entitled "Great literary political set and magnificent artistic image" focused on the essence of nationalism, historicity and modernity of Heydar Aliyev's understanding. He said that literature and art played a special role in the formation of Heydar Aliyev's thinking of statehood, in acquiring a rich national and human outlook. The great leader saw literature as a manifestation of the national-historical existence and spiritual level of our people. He paid special attention to the experience of historicity and modernity of our national-artistic thinking, its existing ideological principles and moral-spiritual value, and evaluated these higher qualities as an integral part of literature policy in the training of national statehood. He showed that the nationalism policy of the national leader in our literature is based on our folk, patriotism, traditions and moral values, feelings of respect for them. The great leader paid special attention to the purpose of protecting, purity and expanding the scope of our mother tongue, took practical measures in this regard, signed decrees and orders on the national language policy, and achieved the implementation of the draft law.
In the principle of historicity, Heydar Aliyev attached great importance to traditions in the field of classical literary heritage, considered it necessary to use them creatively, and emphasized the importance of historical works.
The author noted the importance of the literary policy of National leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of Azerbaijani literature in the latest era. He characterized the prominent statesman as the founder and creator of literature policy in the national state. He considered that the literature of the Azerbaijani people in the last fifty years is the literature of Heydar Aliyev's era. The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, enriches the literature education of the great leader in the new historical conditions with modern provisions and develops it creatively. At present, against the background of the new historical epoch, the responsible task is to create a generalized perfect artistic image of the National leader in our literature.
Corresponding member of ANAS, T. Alishanoglu, in his article "Historical image of Heydar Aliyev and literature", characterized Heydar Aliyev in terms of modernity and historicity, revived the image of Heydar Aliyev in the literary environment based on facts.
Ph.D. A.Bagırli in her article "Artistic image of Heydar Aliyev in children's literature and dramaturgy" followed the image of Heydar Aliyev in artistic examples written for children.
A. Asgarli, who followed the elite personality of Heydar Aliyev at the crossroads of world civilization, believes that this philological book is an important resource for scientific research institutions, secondary and higher schools, political-ideological classes and historical lectures, in the formation and enrichment of the state thinking of the Azerbaijani people, and for the younger generations to learn about Heydar Aliyev. In Aliyev's example, it is a guiding ideological document in education.
