The Oghuzs have given mankind a magnificent monument like "Kitabi-Dade Gorgud", great personalities like Dade Gogud, Mahamda Fuzuli. These immortal monuments and personalities are from the mighty Bayat dynasty of the Oguz. The study of bayats has not been widely studied in Azerbaijani horror studies.
Honored scientist, professor Ghazanfar Pashayev's work, rich in interesting facts, dedicated to the study of tribes of the Bayat Tribe Union in Azerbaijan (including Darbend) and Iraq, has been published. This book, published by "Elm and Education" publishing house, is an interesting historical source for historians and literary scholars, ethnographers and folklorists. Academician Isa Habibbeyli, who wrote a preface to the book entitled "Professor Gazanfar Pashayev's Bayatnamesi", evaluates the work as a "reputable scientific presentation" and an "excellent scientific contribution" and notes that it will guide the conduct of more different studies on Bayats.
