Academician Isa Habibbayli met with Chinese scientists
Within the VI World Intercultural Dialogue Forum held in Baku ANAS President, Academician Isa Habibbayli met with Prof. Dai Jianbing, Rector of China's Hebei Institute of Ethnic Studies, Prof. Peng Feng, Dean of the Faculty of Arts of Peking University and Prof. Zhou Jinfeng, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation.
Academician Isa Habibbayli stressed that ANAS is interested in developing cooperative relations with the institutions represented by the Chinese guests.
At the meeting, Professor Dai Jianbing, Rector of China's Hebei Institute of Ethnic Studies, Professor Peng Feng, Dean of the Faculty of Arts of Peking University, and Professor Zhou Jinfeng, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the China Foundation for Biodiversity Protection and Green Development, spoke and gave detailed information about the institutions they are representing. They talked about the importance of expanding cooperation relations with the Academy.
Rector of China's Hebei Institute of Ethnic Studies Dai Jianbing invited academician Isa Habibbeyli to the international scientific conference "From the Caspian Sea to China: Literature, Technology and Social Life" to be held in China in June.
Later, opinions were exchanged on issues of mutual interest, opportunities for cooperation were discussed.
Academician Isa Habibbeyli presented the guests with gift books written in English and Russian about the history of Azerbaijan, including the city of Shusha, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Nizami Ganjavi.
Chinese guests got acquainted with the historical building of ANAS Presidium.
