ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi of "Pakistani Literary Center" opened. On this occasion, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Bilal Haye visited the Institute of Literature.
At the meeting, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Director of the Institute of Literature, Academician Isa Habibbayli greeted the ambassador and briefed him on the Institute's work to develop Azerbaijan-Pakistan literary relations and its action plan.
Alademik Isa Habibbayli noted that Pakistan's support for Azerbaijan during and after the 44-day war is an example of true brotherhood. Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Haye thanked Academician Isa Habibbayli for the invitation and expressed readiness to support the establishment of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in the field of literary relations. After that, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, Ambassador Bilal Hay and the staff of the institute has opened the Pakistan Literary Center.
An exhibition of Azerbaijani and Pakistani flags, pictures of prominent statesmen and politicians of both countries and books has been set up at the center. Academician Isa Habibbayli called the opening of the "Pakistan Literature Center" with the participation of the ambassador of the brotherly state of Pakistan an important event for our countries. He said that the center will work to study Pakistani literature. Pakistan's ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Haye also stressed that the opening of such a center will contribute to the further strengthening of our friendship and brotherhood.
