On October 1, Vice President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Isa Habibbayli has received a delegation of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
Academician Isa Habibbayli greeted the guests and expressed his pleasure to see them at the Academy. Speaking about the Azerbaijani-Turkish brotherhood, academician Isa Habibbayli said that the 44-day war has further strengthened the friendly relations between the two countries. According to him, these relations have had a positive impact on the further development of cooperation not only in the military field, but also in science. Saying that Manas University is a joint university of Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, the academician stressed the importance of this university for Azerbaijan in terms of our common values. The vice-president of ANAS said that there was a need to conduct joint scientific research with Kyrgyzstan in many areas and stressed the importance of implementing triple projects to identify research facilities.
Speaking at the meeting, the rector of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University in Turkey, Professor Alpaslan Ceylan thanked academician Isa Habibbayli for the kind attitude. Giving information about the institution he heads, he said that the university has 11 faculties and a medical faculty will be opened soon. According to him, the main part of all this is the joint work with the Academy of Sciences.
Vice-rector of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Asylbek Kulmirzayev, in turn, said that the agreement to be signed between the two organizations will lay the foundation for the expansion of relations between the three countries and further strengthen the Turkish community.
Later, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. The document provides for the establishment of cooperation between scientists and specialists of the two organizations, joint projects, staff exchange, etc. It is planned to.
