The Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences hosted a scientific conference on "Karabakh literary life: history and modernity" dedicated to the Memorial Day. At the conference, our martyrs were commemorated with a minute of silence.
ANAS Vice-president, Director of the Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi, Academician Isa Habibbayli has opened the event, and spoke on the importance of our historic victory.
Academician Isa Habibbayli added, “President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressed the people of Azerbaijan. It is celebrated today all over the country, even in embassies abroad. Mr. President's leadership skills and culture of war management are studied and promoted all over the world.
ANAS Corresponding member Tehran Mustafayev delivered a report on "During the victory: change of discourse in modern literature", Professor Shirindil Alishanli on "Lachin: in the memory of historical and artistic word", associate professor Rahid Khalilov on "Patriotic war and the problem of national self-consciousness in literature".
Then, Aygun Bagirli, Elchin Mehraliyev, Marziya Najafova, Ilham Mammadli, Farida Valiyeva, Bahar Mammadova, Alizade Asgarli also delivered papers on "Karabakh literary life: history and modernity".
