These views expressed at the event held on the occasion of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan became a clear embodiment of the gradually developing relations between our countries. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan, Bakhrom Ashrafkhonov, noted that the basic law of his country was adopted 30 years ago - on December 8, 1992: "The adoption of the Constitution is a clear legal system that regulates relations in all areas of public and state building, in all areas of our national legislation. created The fact that the ideas and norms of the Constitution of Uzbekistan reflect the centuries-old experience and moral values of our people, as well as the rich historical and legal heritage, is a guarantee of its vitality. The ambassador noted that friendly and strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are developing more and more: "I can say with certainty that deputies, experts and analysts, mass media representatives, science and culture figures have a special contribution to this development. At the same time, the great works carried out by our honorable Presidents have become an example not only for the Turkish world, but for the whole world. The high-level bilateral cooperation that took place this year raised the cultural and humanitarian relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan to a new level".
The ambassador said that, he was proud to be entrusted with the presentation of awards to science and culture figures awarded by the order of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev: "According to the relevant order of the President of Uzbekistan dated August 30, 2022, a group of science and culture figures of Azerbaijan were awarded. Almaz Ulvi Binnatova, professor of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of ANAS, and scientist of novation, Ramiz Askar, teacher of the Department of Turkology of Baku State University, doctor of philological sciences, Ramiz Askar, were awarded the Order of "Friendship", and People's Artist Gulyanag Mammadova was awarded the honorary title of People's Artist of Uzbekistan. We express our deep gratitude to each of them for their services in the development of cultural and literary relations between our countries!".
ANAS President, Academician Isa Habibbeyli spoke and expressed his gratitude on behalf of the institution he leads: "The awards are a high appreciation of the culture and literature of Azerbaijan by the President of Uzbekistan and the people of Uzbekistan. Relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are developing day by day as a result of AR President Ilham Aliyev's policy. Today, the relations established by the great leader Heydar Aliyev have reached a high point of development. Literary and cultural relations have a special role in the development of these relations. After Uzbekistan, Alishir Navaini is the most studied Azerbaijani scientist. Likewise, Fuzuli and Nizami are equally studied by Uzbek scientists. The friendship between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan is ancient and will continue forever.
Professor Ramiz Asker said that he considers the award an honor: "I have been translating the works of Navai and other Uzbek classics into Azerbaijani for the last three years. The embassy supported me in this matter. Because there were no textbooks for universities. From now on, I will try to make my contributions in this field."
People's artist Gulyanag Mammadova said that she was happy to be awarded the honorary title of People's Artist of Uzbekistan: "I have loved Uzbekistan since childhood. Today, fortunately, I was awarded the title of People's Artist of this ancient and beautiful country. I will continue to contribute to the culture of both countries."
