The 1st meeting of the Scientific Council of ANAS Institute of Literature in 2022 was held in a hybrid format. The meeting was attended by members of the council, heads of various departments of the Institute and those involved in current issues. The scientific council was opened by ANAS Vice-President, Director of the Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi, Academician Isa Habibbayli.
First, the young scientists of the Institute were awarded on the occasion of February 2, Youth Day. Three young scientists under the age of 35 of the Institute of Literature in the nomination "Young Scientist of the Year" - 2021 were awarded the Honorary Decree of the Institute. These are Shafa Aliyeva, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute, Nurlana Mammadova and a researcher Aysel Gurbanova.
Speaking on the report on the activities carried out in connection with the "Nizami Ganjavi Year" at the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS and the forthcoming tasks, academician Isa Habibbayli spoke about the importance of the newly published book "Life and work of Nizami Ganjavi" prepared by the Department of Nizami Studies. At the same time, he thanked the Minister of Culture Anar Karimov on the awarding of 15 employees of the Institute.
Scientific Secretary, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Aygun Bagirli highlighted the names of employees awarded in the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi".
The Scientific Council also discussed and approved the comprehensive plan of scientific research of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi for 2022, the discussion and approval of the "Work Plan" of the Scientific Council for 2022, the discussion of the Institute's "Action Plan" for 2022 and the issue of approval was considered.
The date of the "Literary Process - 2020-2021" Creative Conference is set for the first week of March 2022.
The issues of printing and competition were also discussed and the staff of the Institute voiced their views on the issues.
