Institute of Eurasian Turkish Studies (Director, Korea Res. Eunkyung OH) of the Korean jointly with Dongduk Women's University and ANAS Institute of Literature and History of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences held the 2nd Korea-Azerbaijan Humanitarian Forum. The forum was held as a webinar at the Textile Center in Korea and at the Hayat Regency Hotel in Azerbaijan and was broadcast live on YouTube.The Korea-Azerbaijan Humanitarian Forum is the first event held after the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and is held for the second time this year. Professor Eunkyung OH, head of the Institute for Eurasian-Turkish Studies, the organizer of the forum, said he hoped that the Foreign Ministries of the two countries would hold a joint and regular humanities forum next year, in 2022, marking the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.He also stressed that the reason for discussing cooperation and the humanities with Azerbaijan during the 4th Industrial Revolution, when advanced science and technology were accepted as the future of mankind, was the need for researchers in the humanities to discover new cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Korea.Welcoming the conference participants, ANASVice-President, Director of the Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi, MP Isa Habibbayli noted that, such events contribute to the development of literary and cultural relations between the two countries.
