Isa Habibbayli: “A new Charter of ANAS will expand entrepreneurship and innovation”.
The Law "On Science" contains wide provisions related to innovation and entrepreneurship in scientific activities".
This was stated by the first vice-president of ANAS Isa Habibbayli at the General Assembly of the academy. According to him, the new Charter of ANAS will allow expanding the entrepreneurship and innovation activities at the academy. "It also has the potential to stimulate further activity of the academy. With AR President's consent and Cabinet of Ministers decision by ANAS proposal, a new structures are being established at the academy. But, these issues are not legally reflected in the previous Charter. A new Charter contains specific items related to entrepreneurship and innovation activities, which determines new scientific directions such as definition of income from entrepreneurship in the field of science, improving the social status of the academy staff and the development of this scientific institution etc.
"The scientific departments were governed by both academic secretaries and vice presidents who curated the department. By changing the Charter of Academy, the departments were entrusted with the vice presidents supervising those divisions". Isa Habibbayli said that, vice-presidents will be chairmen of the academy's departments: "Now, also will be auxiliary staffing for the first vice-presidents and vice-presidents”.
