ANAS discusses the work "Ancient near-Asian and pre-Caucasian Turkic Tribes"

ANAS Institute of Literature, Electronic Assembly hall held scientific discussion on the re-published book "Ancient near-Asian and Pre-Caucasus Turkic Tribes" by a social-political figure, historian, turkologist and Professor Ajdar Ismailov.

The event was opened by the vice-president of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Literature Isa Habibbayli, who spoke on the rich scientific creativity of Azhdar Ismailov. He said that the author of a number of fundamental monographs and researches, Ajdar Ismailov has important role in the socio-political life of Azerbaijan. His research on "Historical dramas of Hussein Javid", "Hussein Javid's creativity and the tradition of demonism in world literature" is considered one of the most significant works in the field of Javid studies.

According to Isa Habibbayli, the book has been developed for many years as a result of long-termed research by the scholar devoted to the study of the ancient tribes of ancient Near-Asia and the Pre-Caucasus. He noted that, the publication discredits the legendary claims of the Armenian and hired Armenian historians on the fabrication of the "Great Armenia" from the beginning of the eighteenth century to the present day. He emphasized that, the book also explains the origin of the word "Armenia" in the Russian publications, based on rich historical facts.

Noted that, the scientific editors of the work, which are rich in historical documents, maps and photos, are Doctors of History Tofig Mammadov and Kamal Aliyev, reviewers are Professors Gazanfar Kazimov and Elmaddin Alibayzadeh.

ANAS vice – president said the newly published book is a valuable resource for historians, researchers, as well as students and doctoral students.

Later on, academician Mohsun Naghisoylu, corresponding member of ANAS Vali Aliyev, Doctor of Historical sciences associate professor Gasim Hajiyev, PhD in History Elnur Kalbizadeh and others highlighted the book as a consistent response to the Armenian lies.

In conclusion, Professor Azhdar Ismayilov expressed his gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event.
