ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi of organized a panel on "South Azerbaijan and the Turkic world" within the framework of the II Turkish World Literature and Book Festival.
The moderator of the panel, Esmira Fuad, senior researcher of the South Azerbaijan Department, Doctor of Philology gave information about the literature of South Azerbaijan. She noted that after President Ilham Aliyev's courageous and historic speech at the Samarkand meeting, a new era has begun in the field of research and promotion of South Azerbaijani literature. Poets from South Azerbaijan expressed their belief that after the victory of Karabakh, the dreams of All Azerbaijan will come true.
Poet Masoud Haray also spoke on the problems of Azerbaijanis living in Iran and stressed that literary people are fighting stubbornly despite all the existing obstacles. Translator and publicist Abdulla Amir Hashimi Javanshir, who was sentenced to live as an immigrant in Sweden, pointed out that one of the main themes of the literature created in Azerbaijan is the struggle and national identity. The research scientist Mohammad Rahmanifar also touched upon the issue of publishing books by poets who are Azerbaijani Turks in Iran. At the same time, the poets performed poems with a national spirit.
