The cultural portal Kulis.az has announced names of winners the "Writer, poet and critic of year" for 2019.
According to the source, the winners were chosen by a jury of Kulis.az employees, based on newspapers journals, magazines and books published by Kulis.az website and other cultural and literary sites for this year. Among the winners are Elnara Akimova, head of the Department of “Literature newspaper”, Doctor of Philology, critic and literary scholar.
Elnara Akimova was awarded the "Critic of the Year" for her regular criticism of new literary examples, especially of youth creativity and for "Thinking as a literary criticism" book has published this year, as well as for a collection of literary discussions of “Discussion of the Literature of Independence” book organized by “Literature newspaper”.
Safar Alimli was also awarded the “Writer of the Year" for his book "Girl and Mannequin" and new stories published in Kulis.az. Hamid Herischi was awarded the "Poet of the Year" for his poems, which were widely published by Kulis.az.
Note that, the presentation will be hold at “Apa Group” conference hall on December 25 at 15:00.
