The issue of additional territories that Armenia took from Azerbaijan should be considered
The statements of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev about Armenia's seizure of our country's territories at different times, the destruction of our historical and cultural heritage in the occupied lands, and the distortion and artificial change of our toponyms are fully confirmed by archival documents, maps, scientific and literary works, and examples of people's memory. The Armenian side cannot show any monuments or toponyms in Karabakh that have any historical basis. Not only the above-ground material and cultural monuments of Karabakh and Zangezur, but also in the underground archaeological materials, folklore and ethnographic examples reflecting the people's memory are the national wealth belonging to the Azerbaijani people from the earliest times to this day. It is no coincidence that already in the 18th century, Mullah Panah Vagif and Mullah Vali Vidadi spread the words in their poems: "The brotherly life of Kullu Karabakh is callous, callous." On the maps compiled with the participation of Armenians during the time of Tsarist Russia, there are no traces of a state called Armenia.
The maps of the 20th century and previous eras, which President Ilham Aliyev talked about during his visit to Lachin region are kept in the world's most prestigious libraries and museum funds. Armenia and their patrons abroad can look at those maps and clearly see when the fictional state called Armenia appeared, how it was artificially created, and what territories they later captured. Comparing the maps drawn one after the other during the years of Soviet rule, it is possible to clearly see how much additional land Armenia took from Azerbaijan with the help of the Bolsheviks and the finger of Anastas Mikoyan. Looking for place names of Armenian origin on the maps of the period before the Soviet rule, which is not so far away, is nothing more than deceiving oneself and others. Apart from insidious forces, the world community no longer believes in artificial fictions of "poor Armenians", but in science, history, and archives. Behind every provision in President Ilham Aliyev's statements are irrefutable historical facts and authoritative documents. The opinions expressed by our head of state about our recent and distant history are statements that have a solid basis from a political-ideological point of view, as well as from a scientific-historical point of view. Due to all this, in the issue of re-recognition of borders, the issue of additional lands that Armenia took from Azerbaijan should be taken into account.
The most important thing is that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is drawing a perfect road map of the new history in the region, which is acceptable and profitable for all parties. The corridors of Zangezur and Lachin, which will pass through the lands of Azerbaijan freed from occupation, are an open door to Armenia, which is suffocating in the grip of intense internal conflicts and fictitious dreams on the map of the 21st century. Azerbaijan looks at the Lachin corridor and the restoration of the Zangezur highway on the scale of European-Asian horizons and on the scale of the common interests of the regional states. Armenia cannot see far from Lachin. In fact, the notorious Armenians do not correctly understand the essence and importance of Lachin. It is a pity that in Armenia they cannot understand that the Zangezur-Lachin corridors are an urgent issue of a global nature that is of interest to both the West and the East.
Zangezur-Lachin corridors are the main crossing points of the Great Silk Road of the 21st century. Events and processes show that there are hardly any people who can think on this scale in Armenia. Therefore, it is up to the Republic of Azerbaijan to solve this problem, which is extremely important for the world community, for the Eurasian geography, as well as for Armenia. As in the case of the 44-day Karabakh war, the world looks with great hope to the iron fist of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and his fair logic and objective position, which is stronger than iron, in the case of the Zangezur-Lachin corridors. The people of Azerbaijan sincerely believe that the leader of our country, Ilham Aliyev, will provide our people with the pride of the historic Victory in Karabakh, and will ensure our future development by successfully overcoming the difficulties encountered in the difficult, responsible and complex conditions after the Patriotic War.
