Professor Badirkhan Ahmadli, a doctor of philology, was visiting Uzbekistan on a scientific tour. He is the head of the department of Azerbaijan-Asian literary relations at the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of ANAS. Professor previously delivered a speech on "Ismayil Bey Gaspirali and the movement of Jadids in Azerbaijan" at the conference devoted to Jadids, which was held at Fergana State University in the Fergana district of Uzbekistan. As arranged, he delivered lectures to masters and first-, second-, third-, and fourth-year philology faculty members at the institution on a variety of subjects. Ismayil Bey Gaspirali's "Formula of unity in language, thought, work in a new era," "Uzbek modernists and Common features of Azerbaijani intellectuals," "Modernization movement in the Turkic world," and "Literature and repression; the realities" were among the books he studied.At the invitation of Hamidulla Baltabayev, associate rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Professor Badirkhan Ahmadli delivered a lecture on the "Triple formula of Turkism" at the university's philology faculty. Teachers from universities took part in the talk as well. Numerous questions on the subject were raised following the speech.
Both universities and Professor Badirkhan Ahmadli have agreed to host further talks on the integration of the Turkic world.
