From August 15 to 20, 2022, by the organization of the International Union of German Language Teachers and the Austrian Association of German as a Foreign Languagethe was held the XVII International Congress of German Language Teacher in Vienna, Austria. More than 3000 German language teachers from different countries of the world attended the conference.
Xanım Zairova, a leading researcher of the Department of World Literature and Comparative Studies of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature, PhD in Philology, associate professor attended the congress with the financial support of IDT 2022 and delivered a paper in German on the aspect of interdisciplinary relations of comparative literature: "Literary texts in the German language class: Short for language learning" the potential of stories and poetry" (Literarische Texte im DaF-Unterricht: Zum Potential von Kurzgeschichte und Lyrik für das Sprachenlernen).
