ANAS Museum-house of Jalil Mammadguluzadeh held an event dedicated to the anniversary of "Molla Nasreddin" journal.
The event was opened by the Director of the museum Yegana Mammadova.
Then, ANAS Vce-President, Academician Isa Habibbayli delivered a paper and conveyed to the audience some interesting and new information about Jalil Mammadguluzadeh and "Molla Nasraddin" literary school.
Speaking at the event, Malahat Babakishiyeva, language and literature teacher of Yasamal district secondary school No. 150, spoke on the modern significance of the outstanding writer's works. Then, the students of the school showed scenes from the feuilletons published in the journal "Molla Nasreddin" and recited excerpts from the works of the writer.
The event was attended by Sevda Aliyeva, Director of secondary school No. 150, Ulker Talibzadeh, Director of Abdulla Shaig Memorial Museum, Irada Azimzadeh, Director of Azim Azimzade Memorial Museum, Laman Huseynova, Director of Nariman Narimanov Museum, Hamida Rustamova, Director of Literary Drama Department of Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater after Abdulla Shaig and other intellectuals.
