Azerbaijani scientist was awarded the Uzbekistan prize

Recently, the head of the Azerbaijan-Asian Literary Relations Department of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a teacher at Khazar University, Doctor of Philology, Professor Badirkhan Ahmadli attended the international symposium “Alishir Navai and the Eastern Renaissance” held at the Navai State University in the city of Navai, Uzbekistan. Navai scholars from twenty countries delivered reports at the symposium dedicated to the 584th anniversary of the birth of the great Uzbek poet and thinker Alishir Navai.

More than a hundred reports were heard at the conference.
Professor Badirkhan Ahmadli delivered a report on “Alishir Navai’s Creativity in the Context of Contemporary Azerbaijani Literary Criticism” and answered questions. Speaking on behalf of the guests at the opening session of the conference and at a large gathering held in front of the statue of Navai in the city, he evaluated Navai's work in the context of Uzbek, Turkic peoples and world literature. Professor Badirkhan Ahmadli, who also gave a separate place to the topic of Navai and Azerbaijan in his speeches, called him "Nizami's younger brother, Fuzuli's older brother" and spoke about the research on Navai's work in Azerbaijan, translations of his works, and the high value given to him.
At the conference, Professor Badirkhan Ahmadli was awarded the "Spiritual Devotee" badge, certificate and plaque of Uzbekistan.
