The results of the ANAS "Young Scientist of the Year" award competition for 2024 have been announced

The results of the ANAS “Young Scientist of the Year” award competition for 2024 were announced at the next meeting of the Presidium of ANAS.

ANAS President, Academician Isa Habibbeyli said that according to the statute, young scientists under the age of 29 who have defended their PhD dissertations and who have distinguished themselves in scientific and public activities are awarded the “Young Scientist of the Year” diploma and a cash prize, and young scientists under the age of 35 who have defended their PhD dissertations, as well as young specialists who have not defended their PhD dissertations and who have distinguished themselves in public activities are awarded the “Young Scientist of the Year” diploma.

According to the results of the competition, Elnura Huseynova, a senior research fellow at the Nasimi Institute of Linguistics, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, was awarded the ANAS “Young Scientist of the Year” award diploma and a cash prize. Telli Aliyeva, Department Head of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Asim Jannatov, Junior Research Fellow of the Ziya Bunyadov Institute of Oriental Studies, Shahana Shahbazova, Junior Research Fellow of the Ziya Bunyadov Institute of Oriental Studies, Gunay Bayramova, PhD student, Research Fellow of the Institute of Archeology and Anthropology, Nigar Ismayilova, Junior Research Fellow of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Kubra Valiyeva, Research Fellow of the Nakhchivan Department of ANAS, Ayshan Salmanova, Research Fellow of the Sheki Regional Scientific Center, Mirmahammed Babayev, Research Fellow of the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center, Simuzar Gafarli, Department Head of the Ganja Department, Dissertation Fellow, Shargiyya Imamali, Former Research Fellow of the Institute of Caucasian Studies, Dissertation Fellow, and Zuriyya Garayeva, Senior Specialist of the Central Scientific Library, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences, were the winners of the ANAS "Young Scientist of the Year" nomination.
