ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi has published the book "Khagani Shirvani' life and activity". The book was published by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute No. 3 of July 3, 2020. The book, which is the result of collective work, is the ninth edition of the series "Scientific passport of the artist." The monograph was published with the "Foreword" by the first vice-president of ANAS, director of the institution, academician Isa Habibbayli.
The scientific editor of the book is Doctor of Philology, Professor Imamverdi Hamidov, the reviewer is the corresponding member of ANAS Nushaba Arasli, the responsible editor is Doctor of Philology, associate professor Aygun Bagirli.
This book is a monograph written at the Institute on the basis of the project "Return to the study of the life and acctivity of writers.The monograph prepared at the section "Azerbaijani literature of the beginning and the Renaissance" scientifically evaluates study of Khagani Shirvani's life, creativity, craftsmanship and heritage is scientifically valued. The book fully studies the life and literary heritage of the poet, examines problems such as the sources, tradition and influence of his poetry, the features of his art, and extensively analyzes his large-scale works.
The 396-page book was published by "Elm ve Tehsil" Publishing House.The collective monograph includes researches of such scientists as Imamverdi Hamidov, Lala Alizadeh, Nushaba Arasli, Konul Hajiyeva, Elnara Zeynalova, Mahammadhasan Gambarli, Baloglan Shafizade, Khanali Babayev, Naila Taghiyeva, Leyli Aliyeva. The book is summarized in Azerbaijani, English, Russian and Persian, and the bibliography is in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, European, Arabic and Persian. The book also includes a list of Khagani Shirvani's manuscripts, works published in different languages and books written about him.
