Orkhan Isayev, an employee of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences has published a book titled “Novras Gadim from Kirkuk (History and Creativity. The book contains the author’s research on the life and creativity of Abdurrezar Novras Gadim, a prominent representative of 18th-century Iraqi-Turkmen literature, as well as his work “Tarixcheyi-Navras” about the ancient Azerbaijani city of Iravan.
Orkhan Isayev had translated the “Tarixcheyi-Navras” from Old Ottoman into Azerbaijani and presents it to readers in the second part of the book. In addition, the book also includes ghazals selected from the Turkic “Divan” of the prominent poet. Orkhan Isayev's book "Kirkuklu Nowras Gadim (His Life and Creativity, "Tarixcheyi-Nowras", Ghazals)" is the first book written about classical Iraqi-Turkmen literature.
The scientific editor and advisor of the book is Honored Scientist, Professor Gazanfar Pashayev, the author of the Foreword is Dr. Shamsaddin Kuzachi, the head of the "Kirkuk Cultural Association" and the reviewers are PhDs in Philology Ismikhan Osmanli, Kübra Guliyeva and Elnur Mustafayev.
