Biography

Aygun Aghabaghir gizi Baghirova was born in 1977. After graduation bachelor in 1997 and master  in 1999 with honors diploma from Baku State University she entered post graduate study in the Institute of Literature named after Nizami. She defended PhD thesis in the subject of “The problem of classical heritage in theoretical-aesthetic views of Samad Vurgun”in 2011, she has  also compiled 5 volumes of the book  “Selected works”” of Yashar Garayev as well as memories, articles “Yashar Garayev : from near and far ” with senior lecturer, PhD, professor  Shirindil Alishanli since 2016.

Aygun Baghirova is the author more than 70 scientific-publicistic articles and 1 monography. She attended in the scientific conferences in the international and republic scale.  

She took part with the lectures in Baku Forum of World Young Scientists in 2014 and in the International Forum European Young Scientists in 2015.

She was awarded prizes “Samad Vurghun” for the services in the development of vurghun criticism in 2011, “Young scientist of the year” for the achievements in literary criticism in the Institute of Literature in 2014, “Honorary Decree” of the Division of Humanitarian Sciences of ANAS in 2015.
