On October 8-11, 2025 in Ankara, Turkey was held the “10th International Congress of Turkic Culture”. The Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences was represented by Salida Sharifova, senior research fellow of the Department of Azerbaijani Literature of the Independence Period, Doctor of Philology, Professor of ANAS.
On the first day of the congress, Salida Sharifova delivered a report titled “The Mixture of the Azerbaijani “Little Novel” Tradition and the Features of Modern Epic Fantasy Literature in Güntay Gencalp’s “Yagız Karıncalar” in the “Literature and Culture” section.
