An employee of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences attended the international symposium dedicated to the legacy of Khoja Ahmed Yasavi.
On May 15-16, the International Symposium was held in the city of Turkestan, Kazakhstan on "Yasavi’s Legacy in the Dialogue of Time and Culture: Humanistic Directions and Modern Challenges”.
At symposium Lala Hasanova, Senior Researcher of the Department of Azerbaijani Literature of the Independence Period of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of the ANAS delivered a paper on “Representation of Classical (Sufi) Motifs in Modern Azerbaijani Prose”.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) and the “Ezret Sultan” National Historical and Cultural Reserve Museum was attended by scientists and specialists from Turkey, USA, Iran, Japan, Italy, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and other countries.
