It is known that Azerbaijan-Iran literary relations are an important branch of world oriental studies. It is an undeniable fact that the culture and literature of the Azerbaijani and neighboring Iranian peoples have very ancient historical ties, and the issues of interaction of literature and cultures of these peoples, as well as the study, publication and study of literary monuments continue today.
I have dedicated a monograph on the directions and problems of the development of Iranian legal studies in the twentieth century, entitled "Nizami Ganjavi in Iranian literary criticism: research, scientific-critical texts and translations", published in 2012 by "Elm" publishing house. In this monograph, I have researched the formation and development of twentieth-century Iranian order based on the research and publications of a number of prominent Iranian scholars, including Vahid Dastgirdi, Said Nafisi, Ali Akbar Shahabi, Zabihullah Safa, Bahruz Sarvati and others. The monograph covers the preparation and publication of Nizami's "Divan" and "Khamsa" scientific-critical texts in Iran, the analysis of the poet's biography and works in terms of ideas and content, as well as the study of artistic features, achievements and shortcomings of Iranian Nizami studies.
