Academician Isa Habibbeyli, ANAS President opened the scientific session and noted that a series of events dedicated to the Great Leader are continuing in our country and around the world within the framework of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" and said that the Academy's event plan has been successfully implemented in this direction. He noted that, the actions of ANAS are carried out on the scale of the republic and the Academy, and our scientists consider it their duty to deeply study the life and activities of the National Leader, to convey the historical services of the genius to the state and people of Azerbaijan to the public in a scientifically justified manner.
Stating that the Great Leader is one of the rare personalities of our centuries-old history and an outstanding statesman who conquered the heights, Academician Isa Habibbayli emphasized that the basis of Azerbaijan's half-century development is connected with the name of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and he paid special attention to the training and promotion of national personnel during his years as a member of the State Security Committee. paid attention to. The Academician drew attention to the fact that in the years when the Great Leader began to lead our country, Azerbaijan ranked last among the republics of the Union in terms of development, but the genius leader made Azerbaijan one of the most advanced countries of the former USSR with the extensive reforms he implemented in a short period of time. In the 1990s, he eliminated the danger of losing Azerbaijan's independence, and laid the foundations of our eternal independence by reshaping state bodies.
Academician Isa Habibbeyli, who brought to attention a part of the Academy's event plan, said that in April, the General Assembly of ANAS dedicated to the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" will be held, a scientific conference on "One nation - two states" will be organized with the participation of Azerbaijani and Turkish scientists, "National Leader Heydar Aliyev" will be held. He said that the Institute of Literature has prepared a monograph entitled "The artistic image of Heydar Aliyev: historicity and modernity" and a book containing Heydar Aliyev's decrees and orders on Azerbaijani literature. In addition, he pointed out that one issue of the institute's "Azerbaijan Literary Studies" magazine will be dedicated to the Great Leader.
