The documentary-fiction film "Hophopname" dedicated to one of the great figures of Azerbaijani classical poetry, Mirza Alakbar Sabir, was screened at the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature.
The event was attended by the film's creative team consisting of young people, scriptwriter and production director Mammadali Abilov, cinematographer Tural Fikretoglu, second director Gadir Suleyman, Head of the Education Department of the Institute of Literature, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Gunay Garayeva, and interns.
Opening the event, the scientific secretary, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Aygun Bagirli provided detailed information about the life and work of Mirza Alakbar Sabir. She expressed her opinion on the screening of the poet's work in the film.
After the screening of the film, the creative team answered the students' questions on the topic.
