A meeting with schoolchildren was held at the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS on Science Day.
Teachers and students of school No. 70, Nizami district of Baku city took part in the meeting.
The scientific secretary of the Institute of Literature, Ph.D. in philology, associate professor Aygün Bagırli opened the event with an introductory speech. He informed the guests about the work done at the Academy and the Institute of Literature. He drew attention to the regular occurrence of such events with the participation of students.
At the meeting, employees of the Department of Children's Literature, Matanat Vahid, "Inculcating the culture of reading in children" and Gulnar Gambarli, "Reading as a tool for children's education" gave a report-discussion.
At the same time, Elnara Akimova, head of the Department of Children's Literature, doctor of philological sciences, Shafa Aliyeva, chairman of the Young Scientist and Specialists Council of the institute, Orkhan Isayev, deputy chairman, and poet Ibrahim Yusifoglu spoke about the importance of students getting to know the science center live.
The students' questions were answered at the meeting, which was distinguished by the students' activity. Konul Mollayeva, deputy director of Nizami district school No. 70, gave a speech and thanked for the organization of the event. He emphasized that such meetings will play an important role in shaping the outlook of students.
The students also got acquainted with the library of the institute and were presented with various books.
