18 september is celebrated as a memorial day of prominent master of word Mammadhuseyn Shahriyar. On this occasion there was held event in the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi.
The event was opened by speech of vice-president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature amed after Nizami Ganjavi, academic Isa Habibbayli. Academic Isa Habibbayli spoke about development of the study of Shahriyar as a special direction in Azerbaijan and works of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi in this direction. He said that creativity of Shahriyar and investigations held on this direction gave significant gifts to the scientific-artistic collaboration between two countries.
Then leading scientific worker of the Institute , compiler of the bibliographic indicator Esmira Fuad Shukurova presented her book “Mammadhuseyn Shahriyar bibliography” to the participants of the event.
