Elnara Akimova, a deputy of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, head of the Children's Literature Department of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of ANAS, Doctor of Philology, spoke at the event "In the Academy: Bibliographic Publications and Serial Academic Publications" organized by ANAS within the framework of the 11th Baku International Book Fair.
She emphasized the importance of the 11th Baku International Book Fair and said that this prestigious exhibition brings together people with different ideologies, missions and professions, opening up wide opportunities for the exchange of ideas and thoughts.
Elnara Akimova emphasized that some of the books presented at the exhibition are addressed to the future, and that is why these publications shed light on our spiritual life from the clarity of the future and contribute to the intellectual development of society.
In her speech, the scientist also spoke about the Institute of Literature's research on emigration literature. He said that the study of the creativity of Mahammad Amin Rasulzadeh, Ali bey Huseynzadeh and other national intellectuals is of particular importance. He noted that the institute is also carrying out significant work in the direction of studying our literature of the period of independence, preparing monographs, and publishing new books. These studies show an objective attitude to the 100-year development of our national literature.
