Nizami scholar awarded with “Honorary Award” of Azerbaijan Cultural Center
The Azerbaijan Cultural Center, operating under the Embassy of Turkey in the Republic of Azerbaijan, is working together with the Eurasian Writers’ Union and leading scientific institutions, universities, and cultural institutions of Turkey to promote our literature.
At the next meeting held at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center, Associate Professor of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Dr. Tahmina Badalova was awarded the Center’s “Honorary Award”. Samir Abbasov, Director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center, highly appreciated Tahmina Badalova’s participation in literary projects and efforts to study and promote the heritage of Nizami Ganjavi.
The Nizami scholar has made reports on Azerbaijani literature at conferences and symposiums held in Turkey and has implemented new scientific research projects related to Azerbaijani literature. Research works on the topics of “Azerbaijani Poetry in the 11th-19th Centuries” and “Selected Stories from Nizami Ganjavi’s “Khamsa”” are important projects in the direction of promoting Azerbaijani literature in Turkey.
Articles of the literary scholar have been published in the “KULLİYAT Ottoman Research Journal”, “Eski Türk Literature Research Journal”, TURAN International Social and Human Sciences Journal and “Kardeş kalemler” of the Eurasian Writers’ Union, “Turkish Literature”, “Turkish Language and Literature” and “Üç çizgi” magazines of the Turkish Literature Foundation, which are included in the “Dergipark” system in Turkey.
New scientific research projects to be implemented in the future were also discussed during the meeting.
