Mehman Hasanli spoke at the plenary session of the international webinar held in Turkmenistan

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality and the declaration of the "International Year of Peace and Trust" in the country by the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, an international webinar entitled "The Role of Science in Strengthening Peace and Sustainable Development" was held in Ashgabat.
In addition to Turkmen scientists, the webinar featured more than 50 presentations from more than ten countries, including Azerbaijan, China, the USA, Great Britain, Japan, Romania, Uzbekistan. Kazakhstan, Belarus and Tajikistan.
At the plenary session of the international webinar, Deputy Director of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Mehman Hasanli delivered a comprehensive online presentation entitled "Friendship and Trust: On the Example of Azerbaijani-Turkmen Literary Relations". Mehman Hasanli spoke in his speech about the common historical roots of both peoples. The report spoke about the literary relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, which were formed at the beginning of the last century and have developed over more than a century. Mehman Hasanli, in his speech, drew attention to the fact that mutual literary relations have expanded during the years of independence. In particular, he noted that the Center for Turkmen Literature named after Mahtimgulu Faragi operates at the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS, and that under the leadership of the President of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli, a number of international scientific conferences and sessions are held at the Institute to study Turkmen literature and the heritage of its outstanding classic Mahtimgulu Faragi, and monographs and books are published.
