In his speech at the scientific and creative meeting "Literary Process - 2024", which took place at the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Gandzhevi of the National Academy of Sciences, the chairman of the Press Council of Azerbaijan, deputy chairman of the Union of Writers of Azerbaijan, editor-in-chief of "525 newspaper" Rashad Medjid said that the "Literary Process" meetings have turned into a literary movement.
Emphasizing that he is happy to participate in such a scientific and creative platform, he noted that the "Literary Process" meetings have become an important tradition, he took part in most of the meetings that have been organized so far, these events play an important role in the development of literary thought.
Recalling the first years of meetings of the "Literary Process", Rashad Medzhid said that at that time the speakers did not touch on complex literary problems. He noted that in his speeches at the meetings, he spoke about the need for an objective approach to the creativity of especially young writers, the importance of conducting a deep scientific analysis of works and showing the existing flaws, because this raises the authority of literary critics and literary critics, and also serves to improve the literary environment as a whole.
The speaker emphasized that over the years, these meetings have turned into a broad literary platform, have become the topic of discussions on the pages of influential press organizations led by "Literary Newspaper", causing a wide resonance in society: "Each year, the reports published in the collection entitled "Literary Process" cover an increasing number of literary and theoretical problems, which increases the importance of these events."
Rashad Medjid said that participation in the meeting together with the staff of the Institute of Literature and literary scholars working in other scientific and cultural institutions, as well as conducting discussions within the framework of cooperation with SPA, is one of the main mechanisms that serve the development of literary studies in the country.
