A special issue of the scientific journal “Azerbaijan Literary Studies” of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences “Muhammad Fuzuli - 530” (2024 No. 3) has been published.
This issue opens with an article by the President of ANAS, editor-in-chief of the scientific journal, academician Isa Habibbeyli entitled “Development Trends of Azerbaijani Fuzuli Studies”. The article comprehensively examines the life and work of the Azerbaijani classical poet Muhammad Fuzuli, one of the most prominent representatives of romantic lyricism in the Turkic-Muslim world.
The executive secretary of the journal is Doctor of Philology Ataemi Mirzayev, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Aygun Bagirli, and the executive editor is PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Tohfa Talibova.
The special issue of the scientific-theoretical journal, which studies Azerbaijani literature and its historical development stages and publishes modern and topical research works on this topic, includes articles by Doctors of Philology Ataemi Mirzayev entitled “The Continental Genre in Fuzuli's Azerbaijani-Turkish Divan”, Farida Azizova’s “Fuzuli's Philosophical Treatise “Matle-ul-Etigad”, and Vagif Yusifli’s “Muhammad Fuzuli – Seyid Azim Shirvani – Three Pillars of the Unified Azerbaijani Ghazal” (Muhammad Fuzuli – Seyid Azim Shirvani – Aliaga Vahid). In addition, this issue of the journal includes articles dedicated to Fuzuli by Yashar Gasimbeyli, Lala Alizadeh, Azizaga Najafzadeh, Zakulla Bayramli, Saadat Shikhiyeva, Aynur Mahmud, Khatira Yusifova, Saltanet Aliyeva, Javida Mammadova and others.
