On the 3rd day of the IV Turkic World Literature and Book Festival, an event dedicated to the famous Azerbaijani poet Fikrat Goja was held on the theme “Fikrat Goja – 90”.
Bizim.Media reports that the President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, Doctors of Philology Vagif Yusifli, Yashar Gasimbeyli and PhD in Philology Guldeniz Gocayeva spoke on Fikrat Goja’s contributions to Azerbaijani poetry and the innovations he brought to literature in the 1960s.
It was noted that Fikrat Goja is one of the poets whose poems are most often composed. The songs written to his poems are in the language of everyone, from children to adults. Fikrat Goja’s poetry is also secular, he was able to convey the processes taking place in the world from time to time to readers in the highest and most effective way.
The panel was moderated by PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Gunay Garayeva.
