PhD Studies is carried out in accordance with the “Rules for the Establishment of Doctoral Programs and Admission to Doctoral Programs” approved by the Resolution No. 129 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 1, 2010.
Based on the plan approved by the Order No. 275 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 2, 2025, admission to doctoral programs (full-time and part-time) for Doctor of Philosophy programs for 2025 has been announced. In order to resolve the issues arising from the Order, a “Document Acceptance” commission has been established at the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS. Relevant measures are being taken to facilitate and instruct the acceptance of candidates’ documents. According to the plan, this year, the Institute of Literature has been allocated 2 places (1 full-time, 1 part-time) for the specialty 5715.01-Literary Theory, Literary Analysis and Criticism, 4 places (2 full-time, 2 part-time) for the specialty 5716.01-Azerbaijani Literature, 3 places (2 full-time, 1 part-time) for the specialty 5717.01-Turkic Peoples' Literature, 2 places (1 full-time, 1 part-time) for the specialty 5718.01-World Literature.
The acceptance of documents will continue electronically (on the portal.edu.az website) from 13.05.2025 to 2.06.2025.
