Academician Isa Habibbeyli, President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, was elected Honorary Academician of the Khorezm Mamun Academy of the Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences.
In this regard, a diploma signed by the Director of the Khorezm Mamun Academy, Professor Ikram Abdullayev, was presented to Academician Isa Habibbeyli.
The document noted that ANAS President, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, was elected Honorary Academician of the Khorezm Mamun Academy for his services in the development of Uzbek-Azerbaijani scientific relations and his research dedicated to the "Importance of Khorezm in World Civilization".
It should be noted that the Khorezm Mamun Academy was founded in the 11th century and occupies an important place in the scientific and cultural life of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
