The 8th Merzifon Book Fair opened in Turkey. The Azerbaijani Cultural Center under our embassy in Turkey set up an Azerbaijani stand at the fair. First, the official opening ceremony of the Book Fair was held in Merzifon city square. Tens of thousands of readers met books and authors through the Merzifon Book Fair, the largest cultural event in the region. The Merzifon Book Fair, attended by hundreds of publishers and authors, has become a cultural meeting platform that contributes to the world of culture and ideas, in addition to being a place where books are presented.
The Azerbaijani Cultural Center in Turkey organized a stand dedicated to our country within the framework of the fair. The Azerbaijani stand exhibited books related to our statehood, the legacy of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, the achievements of modern Azerbaijan, our history, and our culture. The exhibition presented books published in Turkish Turkish by the Azerbaijani Cultural Center on our classical heritage, as well as publications related to Azerbaijan by the "Zengin Yayıncılık" publishing house in Istanbul.
Leading researcher of the Nizami Studies Department of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Tahmina Badalova participated in the 8th Merzifon Book Fair held in the Republic of Turkey and moderated the presentation meeting of Nizami Ganjavi's works translated into Turkish Turkish through the project of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center affiliated with the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Turkey.
