The head of the Press History and Journalism Department of ANAS Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature, Doctor of Philology, Professor Vugar Ahmad was awarded the “Sheikhulmuharririn Ahmet Kabakli on the 100th Anniversary of His Birth” medal by the Turkish Literature Foundation.
The institute reported that Vugar Ahmad was also elected an honorary member of this organization for his services to the Turkic world and Turkish culture. The ceremony of presenting the medal and membership card was held at the Natavan club of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union.
