Along with artificial intelligence and technical sciences, humanities should also be developed.
This was stated by Academician Isa Habibbeyli, President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), at the "Science Festival" held at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
The Academician noted that developing science is not only the responsibility of scientists and universities:
"Developing science can be achieved by simplifying the language of science. This should start from the smallest individual in society. I consider the calls on this issue important for society."
According to him, genetic engineering, which is closely related to the humanities, is currently relevant for the world:
"The main issue that concerns society is related to genetic engineers. It is necessary to remember how important this is for humanity. Of course, technical sciences, artificial intelligence, digitalization are developing rapidly. This is very good for the world. But other sciences cannot be ignored. Humanities must also develop. Currently, genetic engineering, which is related to the humanities, is relevant in the world. Such areas are very useful and their development should be encouraged."
