The article "The Heavy Burden of Understanding", written by the President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbayli, about the novel "Vegetarian" by South Korean writer Han Kang, one of the works awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2024, was published in the issue of "Literature Newspaper" dated April 2-8, 2025.
The article analyzes Han Kang's work in comparison with Azerbaijani literature, and discusses the novel "Vegetarian" as one of the literary events of modern world literature.
