On 10.03.2025, the head of the "Literary Theory" department of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of ANAS, Doctor of Philology, Professor Tahira Mammad's lecture on "National Identity and Independence in the Creativity of Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh" was listened to. Along with students of the Faculty of History and Philology of Nakhchivan State University, doctoral and dissertation students of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of ANAS, as well as students of various universities who were doing internships at the Institute, participated in the lecture. In the lecture, which was organized remotely and live, Professor Tahira Mammad touched upon the issue of national identity and independence ideas in the creativity of the People's Poet B. Vahabzadeh, who has a special place in the development of the national consciousness of the Azerbaijani people. Despite political and ideological pressures, the ideas of independence, Turkism, Turanism, Turkish unity, etc., which were manifested in the substratum of B. Vahabzadeh's creative work during the post-Soviet period, were clarified. The lecture aroused the interest of the audience.
