Doctor of Philology, Associate Elnara Akimova will deliver a lecture on "Literary criticism" on May 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. One of the three subfields of literary studies, literary criticism is the subject of the lecture. The core of literary criticism, its history, how it differs from and interacts with other literary studies areas, how it functions within the literary process, and creative approaches will all be made clear in this lecture. World schools of literary studies, classical and contemporary literary criticism genres, and problems like the evolution and key phases of literary criticism will be the primary focus of interpretation.
