ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi held the presentation of Urdu edition book "Kitabi-Dada Korgud" has been published in Pakistan. President of Pakistan Academy of Literature, Professor Yusif Khushk, head of Eurasian Writers' Union, editor-in-chief of "Brother Pens" journal Yagub Omaroglu, chairman of Azerbaijan Writers' Union, People's Writer Anar, Directors of various ANAS Institutes and many intellectuals attended the presentation.
The presentation was opened by ANAS President, General Director of the Institute of Literature, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, who pointed out that mutual cooperation between ANAS Institute of Literature and the Pakistan Academy of Literature on specific projects is continuing successfully.. He gave detailed information on the books has published so far, held conferences, cooperation agreements and various events.
Also, representatives of Turkey and Pakistan, which were the first to recognize Azerbaijan as a state, are participating in our first event. It is also a history that we held the first event at the Institute of Literature.
President of the Pakistan Academy of Literature, professor Yusif Khushk, gave detailed information about the publication of the epic in Urdu: "Currently, the ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Pakistan is helping us a lot, he is trying to develop our relations. Azerbaijani writers are not strangers to Pakistani writers or vice versa. Pakistan Academy of Literature has again published selected works of Azerbaijani literature in Urdu language in Pakistan. However, this book is a great development in terms of the translation of Azerbaijani literature into Urdu.
Chairman of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, People's Writer Anar said in his speech that "Isa Habibbeyli approached our literary history from a completely new perspective and showed it in practical work, the beginning of our literary history with "Kitabi-Dade Korgud" is a turning point, and this is the service of teacher Isa."
