The XXIII Congress of the International Association of Comparative Studies was held in Tbilisi, Georgia. More than 300 well-known scientists from 34 countries attended the international congress organized on the basis of the Shota Rustaveli Foundation of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Georgia and the Institute of Georgian Literature after Shota Rustaveli.
At the international congress Academician Isa Habibbayli, ANAS Vice-President delivered a scientific paper on "Transition to multi-method literature and the process of formation of new literary trend".
Wthin the framework of the congress, Academician Isa Habibbeyli also atended the meeting with the famous French writer, Concur Prize winner Jean-Luc Coatal.
At the same time, issues of mutual cooperation between the Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi and the Institute of Georgian Literature named after Shota Rustaveli of ANAS were discussed.
Academician Isa Habibbayli, ANAS Vice-President, visited the statue of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, in Tbilisi.
