ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi held a seminar on "Yunus Emre and Azerbaijan".
The seminar was attended by Turkish scientists, Professor Hashim Shahin, Baku State University doctoral student Oguz Kagan Bayraktar and employees of the institute.
The meeting was opened by the Scientific Secretary of ANAS Institute of Literature, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Aygun Bagirli. She gave detailed information on the work done in our country, especially at ANAS Institute of Literature, on common Turkish literature. She noted that, the Institute of Literature has published Yunus Emre's book "Salam olsun" ("Divan") as a contribution to the proclamation of "Year of Yunus Emre" by the decision of UNESCO in fraternal Turkey in 2021. The author of the idea of the book and the author of the "Foreword" entitled "Epic of Yunus Emre" is ANAS Vice-President, Director of ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi, Academician Isa Habibbayli.
Then, Hashim Shahin, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of Medieval History, Anadolu University, Faculty of Literature, delivered a paper on Yunus Emre and his contemporaries in Turkey.
Senior researchers of the Department of Turkish Literature of the Institute of Literature - Doctor of Philology, Professor Nizami Tagisoy, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor Khuraman Humbatova and Head of the Department of Azerbaijani Literature of the Common Early and Renaissance, Professor Imamverdi Hamidov delivered a paper at the seminar.
