The humanistic and humane nature of the ideas glorified in the works of the great Azerbaijani poet is native to all people. At the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a book of articles by Nizami Arab scholars about Nizami Ganjavi was published in Amman. The book, titled "Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi through the eyes of Arab scholars", contains articles by scholars from Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Algeria and Morocco. The articles of Azerbaijani scientists, academician Isa Habibbayli and professor Imamverdi Hamidov are also included in the collection.
The book was presented at the University of Jordan on December 26. In this hybrid session, the author of the book and the foreword, Professor Abdulkarim Jaradat Nizami Ganjavi spoke about the importance of Nizami Ganjavi's legacy and the need to study it.
Vice President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbayli spoke about the care shown to the heritage of Nizami Ganjavi in Azerbaijan at the state level, the idea of the poet's works, their Azerbaijani essence, and thanked Ambassador Eldar Salimov, embassy staff and people involved in the preparation of the book. Chairman of the Azerbaijani National Committee for UNESCO Seymur Fataliyev and Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Jordan Eldar Salimov spoke about the greatness of Nizami's genius and that he will always live. The rector of the University of Jordan said the book was a valuable contribution to the anniversary of the Azerbaijani poet.
Speaking at the session, Professor Imamverdi Hamidov, considering the history of the study of the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi in the Arab world, considered the book a successful step in this direction. He thanked Arab scholars Professors Shirin Hassanein, Samir al-Ahmad, Ahmad Musa and all the authors who prepared articles about Nizami, and praised the work of the coordinator, Professor Abdulkarim Jaradat.
Speaking at the presentation, Arab scholars Professors Shirin Hasaneyn, Ahmed Musa, dr. Ahmad al-Sarkavi, dr. Mustafa al-Bakur, prof. Samir al-Ahmad spoke about the characteristics of Nizami's environment, literary and cultural merits of Azerbaijan, Nizami's Azerbaijani affiliation, the depth of the poet's works and the importance of studying his heritage, the role of the poet's didactic words and humanistic ideas in the moral education of people.
It should be noted that academician Isa Habibbayli and professor Imamverdi Hamidov were also represented in the scientific editorial staff of the book. Elnara Zeynalova, an employee of the Department of Azerbaijani Literature of the Joint Primary and Renaissance Institute of the Institute of Literature, took an active part in the editing process of the book.
